An analysis of preservice teachers critical thinking skills at Universitas Islam Balitar

The industrial revolution 4.0 in the 21st century presents its own challenges for all groups, including preservice teachers, to be able quickly adapt progress of times and technology, solve problems quickly, precisely, wisely. To face century, students need good critical thinking skills. By possessing skills, can plan, monitor, evaluate steps they take both learning activities problem solving. This study aims describe skills teachers at Faculty Teacher Training Education (FKIP) Universitas Islam Balitar. survey research was conducted April–August 2020 with a total sample 118 from Biology Education, Pancasila Civic English Elementary School programs. Critical were measured by an essay test analyzed rubric developed Zubaidah et al. data descriptively. results showed that students' underdeveloped category.
